Rustic Waldhof Alm Evenings

Once a week you have the opportunity to exchange your seat at the dining table in the hotel restaurant for a seat at a table in the Waldhof Alm. Traditional and hearty dishes like fondue, raclette or duck that reflect the rustic atmosphere of the mountain hut restaurant are served. Authentic, laid-back, warm and friendly - you'll love it!  

When you leave the hotel for the short walk up to the Waldhof Alm, our team at the rustic mountain hut restaurant are already busy cooking. And as you approach the secluded clearing or "Alm" you may well already smell the enticing aromas of good home-cooking, then you know you're nearly there. Our team will be waiting for you. They look forward to serving you dishes that have their roots in the farming history of the region and to give you a taste of Salzburg. 

A short walk for long-lasting impression of a great evening 

A gentle 15-minute walk will take you from the hotel to the Waldhof Alm mountain hut restaurant.  Simply follow the well sign-posted path that will lead you upwards to the romantic clearing that the Waldhof Alm calls its home.  From here you have stunning views of the golf course and lovely Lake Fuschl below you nestled between the meadows and mountains of Salzburg County.

While you are enjoying your meal and taking in the fantastic scenery, our one-man band and entertainer Lois will be strapping on his accordion and getting ready to play. The Salzburg musician takes a tongue in cheek approach to his performance, current events and life in general. An evening at the Waldhof Alm is always fun, entertaining and a great night out.
