Salzburg's Theatres are just a short drive away from Ebner's Waldhof

Ebner's Waldhof is located just a short drive away from Salzburg's stages. Choose between the world famous productions in the large Festival Hall or smaller theatres which are home to cabaret and alternative art forms and smaller productions.

From Ebner's Waldhof you can reach all the well-known cultural venues in Salzburg in half an hour by car.  From the parking garage in the Old Town (Altstadt-Garage) you're are then just a short walk from the theatre or stage of your choice. Salzburg's large Festival Hall is located directly at the exit of the parking garage for example.  

Salzburg Landestheater

The Salzburg County Theatre (Landestheater) lies on the other side of the Salzach river. The theatre has been staging drama, dance and musical as well as child and youth productaions since the 18th Century. 

Schauspielhaus

The "Schauspielhaus" is located in the Petersbrunnhof in the Nonntal district of Salzburg in a former estate building of St. Peter's Monastery and is Austria's largest independent theatre. Each year ten to fourteen in-house productions, spanning from the antiquity to contemporary, are performed each year. 

Salzburg's Puppet Theatre

Where do Salzburg's, or probably the world's smallest actors perform? In the Salzburg's famous Puppet Theatre of course! For around one hundred years now the marionettes have been enchanting theatres gowers, both large and small, with pieces such as Mozart's "Magic Flute", Tschaikowskys ballett "The Nutcracker" and Shakespeare's "Midsummer Night's Dream".
